Suzan, 35 years old is a married woman with 6 children. She practices subsistence farming and brick making which partly helps her to take care of her children and family. Suzan says that the major challenge she faces today is the large number of children she has to take care of. Children needs such as school fees, food, clothes, and medical care are burdening. She shares in a low voice that “It wasn’t my will to have all these children, for us the village women; we have no power of deciding how many children we produce instead the husband decides”.
Based on the livelihood that Suzan does, her income is very low to enable her support her 6 children yet her husband is unemployed. She therefore wants to expand her brick making business so that it can grow to meet the needs of her children and family. Suzan visited our office requesting for a small loan of £117/$143 which she says will help her to expand her brick making business.
Sustain Micro Enterprise would like to request you partner with Suzan and help fund her business by donating £117/$143. Your business funding commitment will not only help provide Suzan and her family with money to expand the brick making business but it will also build the capacity of Suzan to provide a meal and other basic needs for her children and also grow her household income.
We are thankful for your commitment and your prayers so that this vulnerable woman and her family are able to experience the love of God and enjoy life in its fullness.
