Safinah is 30years old and a single mother of 3 children, she dropped out of school after her primary seven due to lack of school fees and family support. As a way of surviving, she got married but her marriage was not successful and ended up divorcing. She currently takes care of her children solely which is a challenge to provide all the basic needs.
Safinah practices subsistence farming to support her children but the income earned is merge to support her 3 children. She would like to start up a second hand business but does not have enough capital to get started. “It is really challenging to start up a small business when you have no capital,” she says.
Safinah is requesting for a loan of £68/$83 to start up a second hand cloth business. She will use the money to rent a stall and also purchase clothes. She hopes that her business will provide her with enough income to support her family with food and other basic needs.
Safinah is thankful that you have chosen to fund her business.
