Our Projects

Elsom Star Girls

Elsom Star Girls Project empowers rural teenage girls through literacy, practical skills and education, sexual and reproductive health education, and mentorship. The project provides access to reading materials, career guidance, and life skills, while also promoting protection from abuse and early marriage. Through training in menstrual hygiene management, including how to make reusable sanitary pads, the project helps girls build confidence, stay in school, and work toward a brighter, and more secure future.

Creative Women

Creative Women project is dedicated to empowering vulnerable women and girls through craft-making skills such as weaving, beadwork, tailoring, and other handmade arts. The project equips participants with practical, income-generating skills and connects them to local and digital markets, enabling them to earn a sustainable livelihood and build brighter futures.

She Rises Beyond Disabilities

She Rises Beyond Disabilities Women and girls with disabilities face multiple barriers, including economic exclusion, limited access to healthcare, mobility challenges, and inadequate skills development opportunities. She Rises Beyond Disability is an initiative under SustainMe aimed at empowering women and girls with disabilities by providing them with financial inclusion opportunities, vocational skills, essential livelihood support, food security, healthcare access, and mobility tools. This project seeks to promote independence, dignity, and long-term sustainability for women and girls with disabilities.

SustainMe is committed to empowering and uplifting vulnerable women, girls, and families by working to break the cycle of poverty and end gender based violence. We do this by providing skills training, education, access to healthcare, and nutritious meals, while promoting food security, financial inclusion, protection from rights violations, and sustainable livelihood development.

Nick’s Heart for Women Livelihoods

Nick’s Heart for Women Livelihoods is a transformative project that promotes animal and poultry farming among rural women and girls—supporting the rearing of cows, goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens. Through this sustainable initiative, women and girls gain access to nutritious food and reliable income, empowering them to combat poverty and hunger within their communities.

Nick’s Heart for Women Livelihoods was established as a sustainability-focused initiative to create a long-term funding model for SustainMe. By generating income from project activities, SustainMe is able to fund its operations while extending support to more vulnerable women and girls over time

The project not only provides livestock but also equips participants with practical skills in animal and poultry care, enabling them to manage and grow their ventures effectively. Each woman and girl in the program owns an animal, giving them a direct source of livelihood and economic empowerment
