We would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new volunteer! Cindy joins our team and will be volunteering with Sustain Micro Enterprise for 1 month.
Cindy comes from the Netherlands and she is passionate about empowering vulnerable women to fight poverty and helping them become more independent. She will be spending time sharing her skills and experience with the women. She believes that once the women are empowered with skills, they are able to start up their own small businesses and income ventures which can help them to generate an income for themselves and this will make it possible for them to provide the basic needs for their children and families.
She would also like help women and communities learn new skills. She will therefore be working on a Bee Keeping project and help women learn about keeping bees and how this can help them earn an additional income.
We are happy to have you join us and help make a difference in the lives of vulnerable women and families.
