Finance and Business Skills Certificate Award

Thank you very much for your prayers towards our successful Finance and Business skills training. Finally the women got to graduate after one month of business skills and finance training. Our great appreciation to our volunteer Vicky for spending time teaching the vulnerable women about business and financial management.

The training enabled 21 vulnerable women receive skills in business and finance which we believe will help them in running their small businesses. Areas which were covered with the women included but not limited to Record keeping, customer care, sustaining a business, profit-loss, Business planning, marketing, Business activities, and money management.  With the completion of the training, the women have been able to graduate and received their certificates in finance and business skills training.

During the graduation, we were amazed by the wonderful testimonies that were shared by the women on how the finance and business skills training have impacted on their lives especially on how to run and manage their businesses. One of the graduates said that “previously, I was just running my small business without making any records and because of that I didn’t know whether I was making a loss or profit. However, through the training, I have learn’t that keeping my records is very important for a successful business”.

We want to thank Foundation for Sustainable Development -FSD- for choosing to partner with Sustain Micro Enterprise on this project. We hope through this partnership, we will able to create sustainable livelihoods for the vulnerable women and families which will also help us create sustainable communities.
