It was joy when the women were awarded with certificates upon accomplishing the construction of their Tippy Taps. As a way of improving Sanitation and Hygiene among the vulnerable women, children and their families, the women were taught and encouraged to build Tippy Taps to ease hand washing after toilet usage.
Certificates were awarded to the women who made it and together we celebrated with them upon the achievement.
Our thanks to Carole Gregory who while in Uganda in 2016 spend time teaching the women about Hygiene and Sanitation and how to make Tippy Taps.
We hope the award of certificates will even encourage more vulnerable women and families to build Tippy Taps and improves on their general household Hygiene and Sanitation.
