Our great appreciation to Simon and Lorena for giving a goat to a woman in Jinja, Uganda. Thank you very much for choosing to donate a gift of a female goat to Mirabu, she received it and was happy.
Mirabu said that “She will care for her goat very well and ensure that it reproduces. She hopes that once her goat reproduces, she will be able to enjoy milk with her family. In addition, Mirabu hopes that the goat will help her in the fight against poverty as she will earn an income from the sale of the young ones”.
The female goat was named Gertrude.
