Agatha Namaganda

Meet Agatha Namaganda, a woman entrepreneur who has successfully developed her Grocery business with the support from Sustain Micro Enterprise. Agatha joined our program two years ago and since then she has continued to grow and improve her living conditions.

Before joining Sustain Micro Enterprise, Agatha depended on subsistence farming to provide for her 5 children. Given the numerous needs of children such as education, food, medical care and clothing, her source of income couldn’t even cover the needs of one child.

Agatha always dreamt to start up a business that could provide her with daily income but her dreams couldn’t come true because she lacked the capital and skills to get started. Thanks to Sustain Micro Enterprise that opened doors and gave Agatha an opportunity to acquire the tools required to roll-out a small business.

With all tools (skills and small loan) at Agatha‘s hand, she was able to set up a Grocery business selling groceries in her community. The business is now a source of income for her and has given her the reason to work hard and provide for her 5 children and family.

Agatha is eager to say that “I am glad that my dream of running a small business has come true, I am now focusing on saving enough money for my future and that of my children. I want my children to have a good education and a secure future”.
