Impact of a Volunteer

It is a great opportunity for any organization to always receive a helping hand. Sustain Micro Enterprise was blessed to host Sarah Whitlam as a volunteer for a period of 3 months. Sarah was experienced and skilled in the field of Business and had a strong practical business and entrepreneurship knowledge.

While Sarah was with us, she used her business background and knowledge to impact on the lives of the vulnerable women and families in Uganda. She spent time providing capacity building to the women through business training, one to one support and women entrepreneurial outreach.

Sarah was very instrumental is helping us set up a mentorship programme to better support the vulnerable women to grow their small businesses so that they are able to provide most importantly to their children and families. She also helped us to redesign our business training programme. Her impact to our organization and the women she worked with is far reaching and will live to cause a long lasting change in the lives of the women.

As an organization, we are forever grateful for the wonderful and amazing work that Sarah did with the women in Uganda.
